It's a bit weird they ship it with a strap that you have to attach yourself, yet they don't explain how it's done. I can't get the damned thing on no matter what, and I don't suppose you have to detach the metallic cover at the USB port to attach it?

Press the tip of the thin cord firmly together and push it through the hole
(i needed several trials).
I don't recommend the use of the strap, because it can scratch the player (the metal part of the strap).

hehe, too late again. Use thin tweezers to catch the loose end of the strap.

try this: take a short piece of sewing thread, loop it through the end of the writstrap... then push the (much thinner) sewing thread through the hole and the strap will follow

This puzzled me for a second or two. The fact is that when you push in the loop, the metal backplate stops the loop from looping around the pin. The solution works well and is very simple.
Have a needle or pin at the ready. Push in the loop until it stops. Then push the needle into the cord behind the loop and push down. The pressure behind the loop pushes the loop behind the pin and up and out the other side.Last edited by cybeo; 08-10-2007 at 06:46 AM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsi just pinched the attachment loop (until it was kinda of flat and pointy --not a circle oval or loop shaped anymore) and then slid it through, it popped out of the other side on its own, then i slide the handle end through the attachment end's opening (loop). The end, didnt need any tricks or tools, give it a try.
