Rio Carbon AC Charger -- OK for Meizu?

I got my Meizu/Dane-USA 8Gb M6 without the optional AC charger. But, I have a wall socket device into which the USB cable is plugged for charging my old (hard drive -based) Rio Carbon; it looks just like the picture in the Meizu manual. I'm guessing that the voltages and whatever would be the same and that I can merely plug the Meizu's USB cord into that Rio Carbon mains adapter.
But, I'd like confirmation and reassurance that I won't destroy my Meizu!
    Can somebody advise?

If it's a standard USB wall adapter, 5V - 5.5V output @ 300 - 1000 mAh, then it will work fine. The battery will only take as much of the output as is needed, so it can accept a wide range of mAh output.
