Does anyone know if someone is building a music/video/photo manager sort of like Itunes for the Meizu? I was thinking about making a platform independent application, but I don't know if thats something that people would use.
I just ordered my Meizu yesterday so I don't know what software it comes with.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsGood idea... but no, no such software out.
There are a lot of good and free softwares that do these. iTunes is the worst of them all (no offence). Use MediaMonkey for music, Picasa for photos, and video... I dunno...Meizu M8 MiniOne

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMedia Moneky seems cool although it only seems to work for Windows. It also doesn't seem all inclusive. I agree about iTunes sucking cuz I've had an ipod for a little over a year and a half and even though it has a lot of features, there is a lot more that could be added to it to make it better. It does have a few good things going for it though. I just think that a program that would handle everything you would want to put on a meizu would be cool that way you don't need 2-3 differnt programs.

Thanked 2 Times in 2 PostsI always use winamp to order music. But the problem with winamp is that it transfers your music to the root folder on the Meizu in stead of the music folder, maybe someone could make a plugin!

@Michiel - you can change where Winamp puts the tracks. If you go into Preferences, under Media Library >> Portables your Meizu should appear.
Click on it then on the 'Advanced' tab. Enter 'G:\MUSIC\', or whatever drive your Meizu is, and leave the default track formatting as it is.
While you're there you could also put 'mp3;wav;flac' in the Supported Formats box so Winamp will let you transfer tracks in those formats.
@cundimundi
There's only the manual and Win 98 software drivers (occasionally DFU tools too) on the CD that comes with it - on media library. A cross-platform one sounds like a good idea, perhaps written in Python and wxPython (I could lend a hand in that). If you do make sure to create plugins for people's normal music player to make it easy to transfer music. =]~audiofish~
