DFU Tools

Hello everyone and need Help
I have a permanent white screen on my M6-4GB- SP player.
"downloaded the latest firmware 2003.2 from dane-elec meizu site"
http://www.danedigital.com --> nice site but big missteak
Used everything, Vista, XP, laptop, desktop, DFU tool --> nothing happens screen stays white and no additional fil on lap- or desktop
Used soft reset, hard reset according instructions M or FF + on/play, holding down buttons for various seconds, even minutes nothing works, screen stays white.
Draining the battery and conecting with USB on lap- desktop --> screen starts from black to installinng software ...... and after a vew seconds a with screen again and no reaction on device, what ever i do.
I am out of options, maybe someone has an idea

Hello everyone and i think i need Help!

I have a permanent white screen on my M6-4GB-SP miniplayer.

Found the solution:
1) drain the battery of your miniplayer - leave your USB cable connected to your player and disconnected from your lap- desktop, you will have a black screen.
2) start your lap- desktop (still disconnected)
3) start file explorer (my computer) so you can see your disk(s)
4) press Fast backward + on\of button on your player (and keep them pressed)
5) connect your USB cable to your lap- desktop (still buttons on player pressed)
6) player will start-up with a low-format of player, restoring old firmware (you can now release buttons, i think)
7) leave player connected so battery can charge
8) after a while charging you can use your player as intended and/or upgrade Firmware as per instructions (note: be aware for TP or SP type player)

Hope this is usefull, it was for me, player is working again

je suis en train d'essayer de sauver mon meizu avec DFU tools (pas le choix, car devunu invisible même après un reset) et qd je clic sur setup exe de DFU ça me dis "fichier introuvable", comprend pa???? jé tpourtant tou bien fé kom cé marké!! pouet si té la? , jé l'impression ke tu touche ta bille!!!

then i'am pressing DOWNLOAD button and see this

then pressing OK and DOWNLOAD again and see this

help me please ! i don't know what to do

My Problem is that it says "no installation info for your device in this file" or something like that when i want to install the DFU tool with the hardware assistant...

Are you sure you have the M6.EBN file in the DFU Tools folder?

If it displays enumerating, that means it is working.

I Dont Knw Wht Process Can Get Me Into It,Whts Important I Probably Goin To Lose My M6 If No Body Help Me Out Withis'.I Gotta No DFU No Idea.This Thing Drive Me Crazy Down Here.My M6 Its Show Me White Screen Only Tht, No Voice Hell Nothing At all Jus White Screen.Pleeease!

Where Can I Get DFU Tool And Some Kind Of M6.EBN ?Pleeeeeeease Wheeeere?

My 8gb miniplayer was having the green screen resource issue. I tried a hard reset, soft reset, etc etc and nothing worked. Now it has gone to a black screen completley. It will not connect to the computer. I tried the hold on/off and M buttons and that didnt work. Tried dfu tools but computer wont connect to it

anyhelp please i just bought this damn thing

I had the same problem with vichkins666. It has been "enumerating" for a long time and nothing ever happened.

my windows doesnt detect my meizu after connecting it via usb. i pressed the buttons like the instruction said, but i doesnt work.
please help me fast =(

Just copy and paste the resource file to the player's root directory.

hi everybody I can't open my DFU TOOLS "DFU SERVER FAILED TO OPEN M6.EBN" but i followed all the intructions to decompress my firmware to the DFU FOLDER, can

Okay, this probably was posted before but havent found anything specifically like my problem.

I managed to find a way to get the pc to find the usb, and a couple other problems during my 4 hr crusade. Right now....it has found the new hardware and is stuck on 100%. Ive tried the other computer...which is a Vista...and only had more problems with that :P

So still stuck on 100%. What now?

That happened to me once. I dont remember what i did. oh i remember.
*Dont let go the buttons during installation. Try that
