Media-site for m6?

What do You think about do a media-site for m6 miniplayer only?
On site can be skins, wallpapers (backgrounds), movies (for registered users who accept privacy), FAQ (album art, etc), software for video convert, tutorials (how to convert, etc), forum..

I'm interested to do site like that, but I wonder who wants to help do it better;)

great idea! but what do you think, what videos could we put on the site? I don't know how it is in Poland, but in Germany you have to be very very very carefull, what content you are putting on it. also I think, that it wouldn't be a good idea with a forum. I think it's better if we have one big forum and cooperate with MeizuMe and other pages, if possible.

Anyway I could help you with translation to German, because in Germany the Meizu is very popular.

PS.: do you have a server, which is able to manage all the traffic?

I want to ulpoad videoclips, good anime, cartoons (family guy, american dad, maybe others), tv shows (Heroes - yeah!), for full lenght movies... hmm.. yes, it is illegal, but if we add note while register about our privacy and rules (Internet Privacy Act by Bill Clinton), we are safe, aren't we? Movies will be accessable only for registered users, so They must accept "privacy".
Movies will not be stored on site server, but on free file-sharing service (rapidshare/megaupload/orbitfiles/etc), we will only add info, screen and link to them.

About serwer to able this.. hmm.. we can buy sth simple for start, files will not be stored on it like I said, so trafic don't have to be very big.
Maybe paypal dotations will help buy or handle server for site.

i have a legal idea: we are loading up the videos at Youtube. We make links to the videos and show how to download the youtube videos(their are officiel firefox extensions for that)

youtube = worst quality ever...

somehow i don't think you really grasp the legal or technical issues regarding setting up such a service, however....my suggestion would be to use already public torrent trackers [eg. the pirate bay] who already have the infrastructure in place and just tag the files so that people can search for [MEIZU] for example. people already do this with tags for ipod video/psp video/etc.

obviously i'm talking about using copyright free video for all of this and not suggesting anything illegal here...

zervis: i'd really be careful about suggesting stuff like that on a public forum, if not for your own sake, for the sake of the admin and other users here and the attention it might attract.

About YouTube.. hmm.. good idea, but downloaded video must be converted to avi from flv, and when You upload it on YouTube it's converted to flv and looks shitty.

So for now, placing links to movies on f.ex. rapidshare is illegal?
I don't mean movies as MOVIES, only tv shows (like heroes wich can be played online on their site), family guy ant other cartoons, videoclips (also can be played online by many sites), anime is legal for those countries where it's not abble to watch them on tv.

edit: So OK. Lets forget about movies from big screen. I don't want to do it illegal and I'm not suggesting nothing illegal.

I think that is not legally possible (videos).
But I think is a really really good idea to make a site (or system in meizume) so there is database with skins, backgrounds, tools, icons and tutorials. So you can easily see in example 10 skins on 1 page, with 1 example image and short description. and when you click on it, you'll see more info and more images, download link.
sometimes I get really frustrated when I have to open 15 topics to search for 1 skin or tool.

There are so many sites with videos for mobiles... it can't be illegal;/

With the MeizuMe Blog you would have much more readers. And I don't like the idea of a Meizu Warez site

Besides the fact that this "M6 warez" site would be illegal and even any great internet privacy act would not make that better, I like the idea of such a pure Meizu media site. At least for legal(!) music, backgrounds, skins and legal(!) movies. But that's it.
In my opinion a blog is not able to give us a good overview and is imho too chaotic.

So where's the webspace, where's the traffic, where's the concept for such a site?

i have some free .de domain for the german room. Of course with a server.
but first I want to be sure that everything is LEGAL. Hear in Germany it's almost crazy and stupid to to illegal things on the internet, because we have very hard laws in Germany for something like that and a lot of people I know had to pay a lot of money because of it

I don't talk about "warez site", but "media". If we collect there all backgrounds, skins, how to convert videos with different video software, FAQ, reviews, where to buy, it will be much easier for users to use it;d
But if You're sceared because "yaaa... THEY will go hunt for us!", I don't do it by my self. It's only idea m6-media site, where we can find all media files for ours miniplayers
If no body helps, I will not do it, but if there are persons who wants helps, we can start work in this way. I don't hear about "blog" that You talking, but "blog" stays only a "blog", your choice.

Where is webspace, trafic?
Today You can buy hosting very cheap, that's no a problem.

Which language are you going to us for the site? I've got a nice Meizu-related domain for a german site + a lot of german tutorials.

I want to use English & Polish, but there is no problem to do it multilanguage, but people must help to translate it;d

A warez forum for meizu with movies and such would be cool. Who gives a damn about if it's "illegal" ?! I have fileshared and used warez forums for years. Nothing will happen. Warez 4 ever.

There are a lot of hosts that allowes warez and stuff.

Warez forum is another idea, but there should be sticked threads with skins only, backgrounds, hmm... site with skins gallery would be better I think.
But on the other side, it's very easy to do it as forum, mostly for warez.
