Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYes... nice feedback there, we all wish for that.
It is evident that there will be new games added as the firmware progresses, because there are already visible game names in the resource editor. Snake is one that I remember seeing

I dont want more games, I want a flash player , If we want more games that would increase the size of the firmware and give me less room for music , a flash player on the other hand would remove those other games and we could load our own ones onto the device , meaning no loss in memory , the more features they bring out the highyer the cost in our memory.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTrue, short of opening up the firmware for 3rd party development a flash player would definately be the way forward if we want a lot more games on the device. But what would the quality of these games be? They would certainly have to be developed specifically for the m6, since it lacks a mouse or any other reasonable inputs (such as keyboard - or atleast a number pad) you would expect from a device supporting flash.
Flash support would be impressive, but its highly unlikely we could play the average flash games straight off the internet - thats more of a pipedream.
To put things in perspective in terms of hardware capabilities the nokia 9500 has some support for flash off websites, but even just viewing a flash movie which requires no input at all is very jumpy, too jumpy for my liking. As I understand it there may be a cut-down version of flash for devices with limited capabilities though - but I cant find any details on wiki regarding it.Last edited by b-w-d; 04-27-2007 at 12:16 PM. Dosnt work like that , Flash players react from certan keys being pressed , not the flash file , so if you press the w key on your keyboard its telling the game that up is being pressed . so it dosnt matter , as long as the imput device has drivers that can be loaded into the flash player it would work fine , and re-coding games would not be nessasary , you can take simple ready built games for other systems , i believe the player that would be used is called flash lite 2.0 , if you would like to do more resaerch into this sort of thig.

yes , pokemon used to be way fun like 5 years ago when i was a kid , id use to spend hours on it. a emulator for game boy games would work as game boy uses a tiny amount of video useage ( like 4kb)

Meizu should really port older PC games like Half-Life and older X-Box games like Halo to the M6 digital audio player.
Totally. Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

na xbox games ect wouldnt work , 16 bit games stuff like that would be brilliant , but xbox ect because it would need to be emulated it requires alot ,more processing power , a pc that is 3 ghz cant even emulate a ps2 because of the hardware it need to pretend to be... a flash nplayer support and 16 + 32 bit game support would be brilliant

Do you even think the controls of the M6 will work for 16 bit games? Remember this is an audio player.

Touchpad failure rate would also skyrocket from wear and tear.

I wish they would implement a feature that allowed the enter button to shoot nuclear missiles at people.

Would be cool to emulate games on the Meizu. You can add more games to the new teclast C280. It works great although there are like only 3-4 games out there, for now. I love my c280.
but I want a Meizu Music Card :P

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIm affraid I disaggree. If developing in Macromedia Director is anything to go by I would assume that using Flash's ActionScript you would have specific keycodes defined for each input (p.s. theres easily over 30 possible keycodes a game would need). So the controls defined in the actionscript for the flash movie would need serious remapping for a device with 5 buttons & a slider.
It was a nice idea though

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsThey must implent Flash player lite 2.0, then you can make your own games with flash 8. This can also with the Iriver u10 and clix, the number of buttons doesn't matter. Here's an example of making games for u10: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/devices/...hters_pt1.html

i disagree , flash lite 2.0 uses pre-loaded drivers in the gamebuilt into the flash player to re-represent the keys as imput signals , the game responds to the signals , games use tiny amounts of controls , pong for example would use the m + arrow key only ,
the enter tap when you tap the middle of the toutchstrip is not hard coded and can represent somthing differnt to the arrow key , you have 5 keys easily acsessible and cam even make a emulator for gameboy tap center once = a tap center twice = b and that sorta double tap motion is easy to introduce...the start and select keys could be brought up in a menu once the power button is pressed once...Click the little (+/-) button next to someone to reward or punish someone
