The Teclast T29 is almost perfect for music. The C280 is perfect for movies. They are great players. I'v had a T29 before, and I loved it. I have orderd a Teclast C280. Teclast is great quality. There is also a Teclast forum. www.teclasters.com

Meizu and Teclast are diffrent(and great) players and both are good for diffrent things.

Well, right now I'm more interested in Meizu.

Teclast have nice players with sharp designs, but their firmware development is near non-existent. GUI is pretty bad. They are also a bit cheaper.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

    The T29 is quite nice.

I like it for the high S/N ratio. I hear almost no hiss!

In my opinion they are confusing and slightly illogical.
Besides that the T29's GUI is plain ugly which is very strange as the main menu is very pretty. With some (rather small) GUI adjustments they could vastly improve their players.

An example of the confusing and illogical GUI:

When you select Music on the main menu you don't get - like you would expect- an overview of what is in your Music folder.
Instead you get to see your Root folder with the folders Music, Photo, Video, etc all visible. This means you have to select Music again to see whats in your Music folder.

This would not be a big problem if the player would allow you to change your mind and open a video from the Video folder too but it doesn't.
If you select Music in main menu the Video folder will show as empty.
This doesn't mean it has no files at all it just means there are no Music files in the Video folder.

If I indicate that I want to listen to music why does the player also present me with an "empty" Video(and photo and system etc) folder on screen?
