I am kind of clumsy and have dropped it around 6 times since I got it 7 months ago. Still works, few scratches, very very small shifting between 2 halves of case.

I got that around my touch pad. Can you remove the screen protector that came on the player? The instruction manual said not to, so I have not tried to.

It's never hit the ground but i have has one of those stumbling acts.. Similar to when Tony Montana and Sosa were going at it on the hands free box: "Aye aye who you think you talking to!!! You wanna go to war..."

Ya'll know what im talking about.

But i take care of this like if where 1000 bucks... All the attention from the ladies that this brings in.. No one wants a scratched player...

I've dropped it a few times, all on carpet and in the Elite Crystal case. No damage so far.

But I do hate all the dust that gathers under the Crystal case. I have to preiodically remove the case to clean it. That and the case scratches up like crazy.
