M6 SL not recognized by Windows 7

Hey guys, can anybody help me please? I have an M6 SL and my Windows 7 doesn't recognize it. Or when it does, I cannot copy anything on it because it gives me an error message. I just used DFU tools in XP to recover it, it was bricked... But now it acts really weirds in Windows 7. I'm using Windows 7 on a Mac, can that be a problem? My Mac OS of course doesn't even recognize it. Thanks!

Mac is not your problem, it's an compatibility issue with Win 7.
Saying in short, you can't revive your player with Windows 7, sadly. You need XP.
    What error do you get?

When I plug it in, Win7 gives me this warning: "There might be a problem with some files on this device. This can happen if you remove the device before all files have been written to it." Then it offers to scan and fix it...

Then I start copying files, and it copies INCREDIBLY slow, and soon another error message: "Error 0x8007045D: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

Sometimes it just disconnects and reconnects again, during copying. So now the thing is that I cannot use my M6 either with Mac OS, or with Win7... :S I tried to install XP on it, but the new Bootcamp doesn't allow that I guess...

So are you saying that it is impossible to use an M6 (even a totally healthy M6?) with Win7? :S

No, for me Win7 work just fine with all my M6's. (copying and so on)
Only if you need the DFU tools to recover it, you will face a problem with driver.

Have you checked Device Manager to see if all is alright?
