    Touch-strip works through clothes too

Enjoying my new Meizu here... Did anyone notice that you can use the touch strip through clothes? No need to take it out of my pocket to change the volume... I just slide directly through the jacket. (And it's a reasonably thick jacket - triple linen layer, say). This wouldn't be possible with a volume wheel, for example!

    Very cool.

Seems to not work so well if the fingers are wet though.

Really? Cool! But I don't think it works if you have it inside the white pouch...

Would it work if you had the miniplayer in the white pouch, and inside your pants pockets? Hmm...

Hmm, no! It doesn't seem to work at all through the white pouch... And, funnily enough, it seems to also barely work through a t-shirt, compared to the much thicker jacket!

    The t-shirt: 99% cotton + 1% acrylic... barely works.
The jacket: 97% acrylic + 3% wool... works perfectly.

    Funny stuff, eh?...

    With wet fingers? You're mad!

But thanks for the tip, it seems to work OK through my fleece.

I guess they made the pouch specially to avoid it responding through - it might rub on your leg and whack the volume up to max if you forget to put lock on.

Yeah, that is true. They should now sell a pouch that is touch sensitive but also protects your player at the same time

I know there is the crystal case with the touchpad showing, but that makes the M6 too big and bulky. Me no like.

Just stitch your own pouch... not only is it unique, functions well, and gives you a sense of pride; it also looks badass.
