Possible Buyer

Hello all. I have been thinking about getting the meizu m6. i currently have a creative zen vision m. I have really gotten into sound quality and i was hoping you could help me. My main concern and really only concern is sound quality. Does the m6 have the best sound quality or better than the creative line? What are some of the audio settings on the player. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

OMG i just found out from this website you can skin the player?!!! Is there a vista skin out there. I am really considering buying a meizu.

I haven't listened to the Vision M but I have done a comparison with the Zen V Plus. The sound quality on the Meizu is definitely better than the V. And yes there is a Vista skin. Look for it in the skins and modifications forum. The Meizu has a 10 band customizable equalizer plus Bass Boost, Treble Boost Spatializer which has virtual 3D, Phaze Correction, and Virtual Bass Enhancement (Vibe), as well as the ability to set the speaker type. I am very happy with the Meizu's sound quality.

how is it compared to the cowon d2

I don't know about sounds quality (still don't have a Meizu M6, waiting on the 8GB version) but here are a few Vista like skins available for the M6

But I think it might be a little old now, might mention a few bugs that have been fixed already...

I have tried the Zen vision M for a while and it does have very good sound.
However, i feel the Meizu is atleast comparable or maybe even slightly better

I cant tell you exactly why that is...maybe its just a placebo effect of getting the same sound out of a much smaller box

The screen of the Vision m is a bit better than the M6s though but the M6s is still better and brighter than the Ipod video's(to give you comparison material)

sound wise you have no worries at all though... the m6 sounds great and the EQ can be tweaked and adjusted just how you like it
