M8 music file transfer ~ help pls

guys, i am running windows vista premium on an HP pavilion dv5.

i believe i have updated as prompted.

WMP does not recognize my M8. It recognises that there is an external device, but it gives error warning- "device drivers are incompatible with WMP' (i cannot figure what version WMP is) but, computer was manufactured less than 1 yr ago.

I do not care anything about WMP, what I am trying to do is get the music files I steal through Limewire to transfer to my M8.

I am mid-level tech savvy. Help appreciated.

Just connect M8 as an USB Disk (Settings > USB Port > USB Disk), and then copy your music to the Music folder on the device No need for syncing with WMP.
Also don't forget to update the music library after copying the music by going to Music player > second icon at the bottom, Refresh.
