I'm interested if it has WiFi built-in and phone capability... Otherwise I get the iPhone.

Of course, i am really interested, i'll be more if it comes with WiFi :D. It seems to be a excellent and interesting product if it finally comes with phone functions.

Congratulations to the development staff.

Cesar.

With phone or without phone . . . that is the question. Including a phone potentially steals Apple's thunder-- IF Meizu avoids traditional carriers and instead utilizes VOIP. People like me who need a traditional phone can get a $50 cheapie with contract and be free of a need for a data plan. Apple is taking the community back to old technology and rapacious business structure by forcing people to sign with Cingular/AT&T at high hardware cost and long contract duration. Carrier proprietary interest is exactly what keeps technological innovation stagnant.

Can Meizu actually outstrip Apple as a catalyst for change? That is an even more interesting question. My money is on the new kid on the block Meizu because of the M6 successes and the ability for Mac or PC to use the device and install 3rd party apps (I'm no tech guru but I NEED a host of items such as legal dictionaries or encyclopedia for my profession and there is no point in having a pda without it).

Also, how will Meizu interface with Macs and PCs? Apple has outsmarted more than a few simply by making the ipod easy to sync!

I'd be sure to buy one, given that it's not like $400 >.>

Anyone know off hand how large the capacity on it will be? (More than 8gbM6?)

I use my phopne as a multi function device already, so I am definately in the market.

I use an SPVC600 and XDA Orbit. Both are windows mobile, both with mp3 and video capability. Having all functions in a single device saves me carrying about lots of items and wearing ut my pockets from the weight!

I should also note that I have had one of the new Nokia N95 mobiles......I cannot recommend this. The battery life is woeful (use any features and you'll get 2-3 hours only!). Also they have disabled a number of features that result in you needing to use 3G/GPRS data transfer at a price thus kicking up the operating cost.

I know Meuzu have indicated that they may intorduce the M8 mini-one over hear without phone capabilities - i'd be interested in that too, but hope they'll keep the phone functionality also.

Yes but my patience is finite

Yes I am very interested in this phone and have been for a very long time, well over a years time. I've been needing to a new phone that I can use as a carry along PC, not only for MP3 or video player reasons. I was gonna buy the iPhone was upon reading about everything it can't do and never will do I decided not to. So right now I pre-ordered a Eten X800 which in my opinion will do everything I want it to. I still have the option to not purchase it and buy the Meizu in the future but right now, I'm 90% convinced this phone is vaporware. So heres the message to Meizu, give me some kind of release date I can look forward to, maybe even a simple fact that this isn't vaporware used to get the Meizu name out. I have dozens of tech geek friends waiting for this phone and because there is no new information about it released or anything that would actually convince me this phone will ever exist, a good portion of them has decided to buy other phones then wait for a phantom Meizu phone thats suppose to be the end all be all of smart phones. My patience has run thin, and if Meizu plans on selling their phones here they need a date, because people get jaded with internet hype and BS, to the point that when it does come out, they've already bought another phone that they are happy with.
