perhaps a cheaper copy... happened to me once. I received a mail from Hong Kong e-store showing the same picture of Miniplayer M6 (remember it Err0r?). It was this one, the funny thing is that i-Mate is a phone rebrander, they dont work with mp3/mp4 players.
When i went to the site to look at it, it was the newman rebranded.
Also look at the specs:
(2)2.0"TFT,260K color display.
(3)SupportMP3 / WMA / MPX (Can save WMV,WMA,ASF,MPG,MPEG,MOV,AVI into .AMV). with SD card.
(5)Function of browse of JPEG picture
(6)Stereo speakers are built precisely to achieve, and it can easily enjoy the film without headphones
Not even closer to Miniplayer :D... btw what's MPX format?Last edited by marcelo1251; 03-05-2007 at 02:09 AM.

Yesterday i was getting a new TV, got to the store, stayed next to the cell phones stand for 5mins and just came to something that caught my attention. It was a Meizu M6! but rebranded...
There's another company dealing OEM with Meizu and it is Hirium with "its" Hirium microVideoPlayer
Somewhat expensive, they arew offering a 4Gb version for a bit more than $200. Sorry, didn't have time to turn it on and take a look at the TIPS section to see if they kept the reference to Meizu site for firmware upgrades
.
The good thing is that salesman told me it was better than any iPod. I, of course, assumed that it is indeed true :DInternet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.
