I got an Iphone

Yep, it's true. I betrayed Meizu and got an Iphone. Sorry everyone . The thing is though, it's not brand new. It is used but in pretty good condition. Only thing wrong with it is the corners are slightly banged up. That's it. Other than that, it's great. Some normall scratches on the back but I have a cover so you don't even see them. The front always had a screen protector so no scratches there. Ofcoasre first thing I did when I got it is I jailbroke and unlocked it. The phone itself is a 8GB. It's the older phone. You know, not 3G, 2G, 1st gen. Ya. So, how much did I get it for? $160. I cant even believe it. I got it that cheap and it works perfectly and everthing. I love it. I would still like to get my hands on the M8 though. That would be nice.

nice....I'm going to get an iphone too, the first generation. I'm tired of waiting for the M8....its time we all move on.

I've had the iPhone for more than a year now. It helped me wait more patiently for the M8.

I wouldn't get one; proprietary software that doesn't work on Linux + no Vorbis support = useless to me.

They made a jailbreak for Linux.

When it costs so much money I'd want to have something that works the way it should out of the box.

I actually bought an ipod touch 16GB a few months back, as I'm in college and i needed the wi-fi (can't afford the data plan for the Iphone) from Apple refurbished for about USD240 (incl. taxes). Firmware 2.0+ has pretty much made all the difference for me, as it opens up access to the App Store, but I'm still interested in the M8, for microSD capacity, removable batt, the usual stuff.

One thing that really bugs me about the Iphone/Ipod Touch is that it's tied to Itunes and hence is not compatible with Linux. I recently decided to dual boot with Ubuntu, and have found substitutes for almost all the apps I use. of course, Itunes notwithstanding. Wish I still had my M6 (got stolen at the airport).
