Help - no resource - upgrade without loosing files

suddenly my m6 player stopped working

The screen says: "No Resource. Please upgrade Resource Again".
When i connect it to my computer all folders appear empty.

How do I solve the problem without loosing all my files?
Will the upgrade delete all the files?

I've upgraded the player once before, but I'm not sure which software to download. I found this list MEIZU MP3 PLAYER and as far as i can tell this file is the one i need:

New Firmware ver S2004.6 for M6 SP version
Is this the right upgrade version?

In a previous thread I was told that my player (DA-M4-04-MZ2) is a M6SP in Dane-Elec version

When you connect your player to your computer, do you see the folders "MUSIC, PICTURES, VIDEO...?? They just empty??
Do you even see anything on the screen on your player?

Maybe you just need the copy a fresh resource.bin files to your player. By this you won't lose your files but it might be they already lost since you don't see them on your computer. but try it

This firmware works for your player, this is the right one but it might be we need to know which firmware you currently have on your player. It just for if we don't make this problem worse by copying a wrong resource files. Do you remember? 2004.6??

I know the player will only format if you also copy the M6.ebn file to the ROOT folder. This is by doing a full firmware upgrade.

There is also DFU Tools out there if things gets worse and you can't fix it.

Also I will make sure you know this thread:
