Meizu is really the best player for customization! :D

For me that was the clincher. I could do a lot of stuff with the Meizu right out of the box versus having to buy a lot of extra hardware or download hacks, extensions or extra software to get extra functionality.

And the best thing: No DRM. My music remains mine. How's that for smarts!

Yes, i believe the true strength lies within the highly customizable interface and sound enhancements. Its a sure hit for many people who prefer something more technical vs. many other mp3 players.

It also has quite strong community based support and excellent firmware/development support from Meizu themselves.

Im getting my Meizu in a couple of days and a major factor in chooseing it is due to the MASSIVE amounts of custom hacks availible on this site.

The constant firmware updates are the mark of quality in my book.
Bar the problem it appears to have reading album art using the "folder.jpg" image in the music folder or using the ID3 tag as a secondary option I am supremely confident in my purchase!

Well to be honest Album Art is not that important to me. The fact that I have it available, along with the ability to change the background, only attests to the player's customization and flexibility.
