Feeling of superiority?

hi, well i live in spain and the guys at my work cnat stop looking at my meizu, the backgrounds, the sound, fm, videos, all in one. I feel proud of my meizu!!

I was on a bus, surrounded by iPod nano users. They were like all looking at me when I wasn't listening to music, then I took out my M6. They all started staring at my M6, and I felt so superior, started watching videos on it! :D

I like my M6 as a practical and convenient portable player. Bbut when it comes to "higher fidelity", it leaves much to be desired. =T

I do like iAudio and iPod products for their line out capabilities. =T Sometimes, I really want to use an amp to get a better sound out of my e500's, but amping my M6 has either done nothing or made it sound worse. =T

So far, I've traied a Portaphile 2v2 with Blackgate upgrades, a Xin Supermacro IV with upgraded opamps, LDM+, RSA Tomahawk and Hornet-M, and a MisterX XP amp. Of them all, all amps made the warm M6 even warmer. =[

Yeah, I love my lil M6. EVERYONE here has an Ipod. Every time I see one I think "way to go there; jumpin on a bandwagon and all." The only thing people think about here when they are getting a MP3 player is what color Ipod do they want.

I understand that the player doesn't make me a better person, but sitting on the NYC subway and watching a BBC documentary is pure bliss. I love it when the ipod heads give the double take.

Oh and did I mention its cheaper than your Nano and comes with a factory applied skin?

Just like almost everyone on this forum, practically everyone I know who has a DAP has an iPod. It's annoying, actually, when they automatically think they're on top because they paid $200+ for their iPod. Anyway, I have two stories concerning my feeling superior over others with my m6

At school, there were a bunch of classes in the gym, and before we officially started class for the new semester, people were fooling around, listening to music, etc. I had my m6 with me but it was turned off b/c my friends and I were playing a card game. All of a sudden a boy from another gym class strutted over with his iPod video and started to mock my m6. He said something along the lines of "What is this? Look at this! They're trying to copy the iPod! What is Meizu?!" He mocked the controls and 4gb storage space some more while my friends looked on and laughed before I could defend myself. (The only reason he was able to make fun of it in the first place was because it wasn't on and he wasn't stunned by the features). Luckily, he came back later when it WAS turned on and I was watching Borat. This time he wasn't so quick to criticize. He just snatched the player from me and started watching the movie and laughing his head off. I just sat by smugly with an "I told you so" look on my face. I didn't have to defend the player. It defended itself. :D

The second time, I had to do a sales speech for my public speaking class presenting a product. Guess what I chose? Anyway, when my turn came to present, I spoke about all the features of the m6 and passed mine around. The best part was when I said, "You'd think with all these features, the meizu would cost an arm and a leg, but it doesn't!" Practically the whole classroom gasped in surprise as I tried to contain a smile. At the end of the speech, literally the whole class was exclaiming "I want one!" - even the die-hard iPod users. It was great.

So to sum it up, I love my m6.

A lot of people don't like the look of the iPod Nano 2nd gen, but they do like the 1st. Still, the people think that iPod is like one of the best players out there.

So when I listen to my M3 / watch videos, they are like, what is that?! :eek:
And I am like, It's a Meizu Then they try it out and they are like...omg how much does it cost...and when I tell the price, they are like "well, I don't like iPod"

seriously tho i'd be interested any stories cos I know I for one aren't picked up by silly stuff like that tho those telltale white iPod headphone cables are like wearing a barcode on the head that says "sheep" yeah
