Meizu is better than Apple?

It's kind of a mix for me. Being easy to use, having a lot of functions, and looking good are important factors but so is being different from the crowd, opposing the mainstream, and fighting conformity. In my own opinion, Apple doesn't deserve to be the mainstream because of reasons like proprietary software, predetermined obsolescence, and etc.

An iTunes update crashed my computer. Took three days to recover. Never updated iTunes since, and plus, look at all the unnecessary startup entries and services that iTunes installs... What the heck does Apple Bonjour have anything vaugly related to iTunes...

I too would have to agree that in general, apple mp3 players are tested more thoroughly before being released to the public. Their DAP OS's are mostly stable and don't suffer from many of the common bugs we see featured on some meizu devices. Although I do not have any problem with my M6, some people do.

When it comes to judging DAPs, an important concept to consider is price. Would you pay 200 dollars more for something that is near flawless? or would you settle paying less for a device that suits your needs with bugs that do not affect you? Simple questions like that and some research usually lead to the correct decision.

MAC OS X is based on UNIX ! linux is also based on UNIX! Apple made the whole GUI and the most of the code by themselves!

It's more open that WinMo or WinCE, it's very stable, supports a lot of different technologies like multitouch, provides the same functionality on different sort of devices. There are some drawbacks too. Google doesn't give the access to the core of the OS eventhough it's not permitted by the GPL (Android is based on Linux). They will have to do this someday so they don't break the license. The fact that devs can't access the kernel means that they can't use C/C++ to program Andoid based devices and therefore are limited to Java. The thing about Java used in this OS is that it doesn't follow the Java ME and Java SE specifications which means that you won't be able to run java apps from different cell phones on it.
The good thing is that Symbian is going open source too and with Nokia aquireing Trolltech (a company responsible for Qt libraries) this can give us another great platform for mobile devices. Competition was never a bad thing.

Doesn't Windows CE and Windows Mobile support multi-touch as well?

After you implemented it I guess. These guys are saying that Android has native support. I don't really think the stability is much of an issue, yet, because as operating systems get older, they become more stable. Think of how far we've come from Windows 3.1.

Windows 3.1 is a wrong example my friend, since current releases are not based on it since Windows 2000. But the theory is right and with FLOSS operating systems making things stable is even easier because everyone can send patches to the devs.
I forgot to mention OpenMoko which is another Linux based OS for mobile devices. It's completely open source and there is no proprietary code in it.

I meant how stable Windows 3.1 is compared to Windows XP or Vista.
