    Dane-Elec M6 warranty repair

I've asked this in a different thread a while back but haven't got any answers so here i go again.
I have a Dane-Elec branded M6 that's less than a year old (so i'm assuming its still under some sort of warranty) that I need to get repaired/replaced because of some problems with the FM tuner. I've emailed them couple weeks ago but no reply. I've tried calling them morning and night but it just goes to voice recording. i've tried the "live assistance" on their website but it just tells me to try another time because they are not available.. basically i have no way of contacting them it seems. what can I do to get this M6 fixed?

    thanks.

Try registering your product then contact them. Leave them a message threatening to contact the BBB or file a complaint on Ripoff Report. Here are the contact numbers DANE-ELEC Memory

It's towards the bottom left under "support", click on "contacts"

    same problem

I've also had the same problem withe Dane Elec: left multiple messages, emails, etc. Didn't threaten them though, might be a good idea.

I'm just going to wait until my buy.com warranty kicks in after the dane-elec one is over.

Dane-Elec is the distributor, maybe it's better to contact the dealer for warranty...
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

great find! i really appreciate you help.

btw i contacted buy.com (where i bought my meizu from) and they told me to contact the product manufacturer..

according to Meizu, the Supplier is in charge of the after-sale service. would the supplier be dane-elec or buy.com?

It matters when it was purchased. I think that when it's over 30 days, if there is a problem it should be the responsibility of Dane-Elec, because it is a Dane-Elec branded player.

yes it definitely should be Dane-Elec's responsibility to fix this. it's been waay over 30 days since i bought it but still within the 1 year warranty by dane-elec.

    however, according to that page:
To have a product repaired under warranty, the defective product must be shipped (shipping and insurance fees/expenses are at shipper’s expense) to the supplier, reseller or certified Dane-Elec distributor from whom the Dane-Elec product was purchased. All pertinent information in order to identify the product, notably reference to the model and serial number (when applicable), as well as a detailed description of the encountered problem MUST BE enclosed. The proof of purchase of the product containing the purchase date justifying that the defective product is covered by the warranty must also be enclosed.

In the case whereby the supplier, reseller or Dane-Elec distributor has closed, and only in this case, the defective product may be sent by courier or certified mail directly to Dane-Elec, as long as an "RMA" return material authorization number was obtained directly from Dane-Elec.

(i don't know why but the text color is messed up now!)

does this mean they're saying dane-elec will only accept it if buy.com was closed? what? i don't get it..
