My Meizu Died last night

My meizu m6 finally died last night and i wasnt ready for it to go. The problem was that the thing that holds the lock switch inside got broken and so the m6 was always lock and could not turn on. I went inside and fix it.

Upon closing it up, i checked if it was working and it was. When i closed it and press the power button, the light only flash and nothing. I tried everything, Dfu tools; everything. Nothing worked. I left it overnight and in the morning, i pressed the power button and it starts.

When it starts up, the songs were skipping and i couldnt slide the touchpad. The lights then went out, everytime i press the power button, the screen comes up and then goes out in a sec. I still cant press anything. I shut it off and it never turn on. It still flashes. Dfu wont work. Reset wont work. Nothing wont work.

I guess i did something wrong inside which i dont understand.

Anyways, Im planning on buying a new mp3 player if this one cant be fix. Im open for suggestions. It can be as good as the m6 or better, but not degrading.
Help me!

if you want a new mp3 player choose the m6 SL (and buy it on ebay to a good seller like ventures_cn1 electronicking24 ldyonline polytreasure etc...) the samsung p2 is a really good device too.

Sorry to hear that. I was looking around for a Mp3 player a while back and it was either a iRuver Clix, or a Meizu M6. I chose the Meizu because of the cheaper price. I believe that the Clix has more features and better games. Take a look at it. It is relatively cheap too.

Were you properly grounded when you opened your player? I shot circuited 2 iPod motherboards because of static electricity. Next time you open an electronic device, make sure you are grounded.

I have read a Danish review and they say the touch screen is a little too difficult to navigate, especially in the music part of the player. That’s maybe the week point on this player.

I have also taken a short look at D2 on youtube, and I agree the design is not beautiful.
But I will more recommend a M6 SL too. I have found the navigation weird too and slow on this player already by first looking.
But remember, we can only give you advices. Always listen to yourself what you think the right choice is for you.
If you need changes, you need changes!
But I see you miss your M6 too, so why going away from something you've liked.

I'm sorry to hear about your player.. but are you sure it can't be fixed? Have you tried opening it again to see what happened?

Regarding what to buy next, if I were in your shoes I would probably buy another M6 (another M6SL in my case).
But if you're going for something else, then what about the new Smart-Q T5 II? I've read a bit about it and it seems amazing (although a bit ugly on the outside).

I don't know about all you but, I have to say that Cowon D2 is a really amazing player. It really makes about 55 hours of continues playback, sound's amazing, supports flash lite, SDHC, and no, GUI ain't hard to use.

I say this because I have one and it makes me day everytime I use it
