You get what you pay for

I just wanted to share my experience today, in hopes that it may spare some of you folks from this misery:

I made the mistake of ordering an m6 through Walgreens/Dane-Electronics.
My initial annoyance was waiting one week for the m6 to actually ship. I contacted Walgreens and was told on the phone "We don't actually know if the product is in stock as it does not directly ship from us, the only way we find out is if a customer places an order and we wait for the distributor to let us know they are out of stock." Not very efficient.

This morning I heard the sound of a vehicle pulling up to my house, like an excited kid I ran to my front door to greet the DHL delivery man. Boy my timing must have scared the piss out of him; because I opened my front door just in time to see him THROW my package and bounce off my screen door at eye level. He immediately did a 180 and bolted for his van full sprint. Fully intending to give him a free Krav Maga lesson, I wound up struggling with my screen door like a jackass as I forgot in my anger that I needed my keys to unlock it (lol)! By the time I was outside my yellow (pun intended) delivery boy had driven off. I watched him turn the corner, wishing I had telekinesis .

I picked up my package and noticed something funny. One corner of the box had been slashed open and then re-taped with a wad of office width scotch tape. At this point I decided to bust out the camera and take two snapshots of the box prior to opening; fearing I would have a dead or missing Meizu waiting for me. The outside white cardboard shell of the actual Meizu packaging had been cut to pieces. The plastic film still on the unit prevented scratches as it had been flopping around loose in the package (wtf kind of packaging for electronics is that?), but it was covered in finger prints. Had someone at DHL contemplated stealing my unit? Had someone at Dane-Electronics mail me a returned M6 when I had ordered a new one?

I paid bottom dollar, and got bottom dollar treatment.

I've contacted Walgreens. I will also call DHL and Dane-Elec tomorrow. I doubt it will do much, but this triumvirate of incompetence needs my complaints.

OK ...

... so the problem is not the Meizu itself, but the delivery.

That's why I do not understand the title of your topic :
"You get what you paid for"

Order a new stuff from DHL, and wait for the men hopping that it will be the same, then smash him !!

No, the Meizu is good. My implication was that sometimes its worth it to just fork out a few extra bucks to get from a seller that knows their inventory and will ship it on time.

I wasn't entirely rational while I was writing it
