    Please help with school assignment!

I am currently working on a school assignment in which my focus is based on hearing impairments due to the use of DAPs. So I would be grateful if some of you would kindly help answer the questions below. The information that would collected from this survey is for research purposes only, and the information that is obtained shall be deleted upon the completion of the assignment.
In addition, as a school policy, they have required me to collect information only from legal adults. So anyone who is not a legal adult should not need to answer these questions.

    Thank you.

    1) As a DAP (Digital audio player) user, what is your response to the possibility of hearing impairments from listening to DAPs?

    2) As we are all on the same forum for the same brand of DAP, how adequate do you feel the stock earphones are in their ability to prevent hearing damage?

    3) Have you purchase earphones from other companies? If yes; besides from enhanced sound quality, how adequate do you feel that the earphone you have purchased offer adequate protection of your ears from hearing impairment?

    4) How much effort do you feel that Meizu has put in to development of its DAPs so that it has reduced the hearing impairment from consumers?

    5) How satisfied are you with the amount of protection of hearing impairment that the DAP has to offer?

    6) How satisfied are you with the amount of protection of hearing impairment that your earphone has to offer?

7 )How would you feel if companies have warning signs like on cigarette boxes but instead regarding hearing impairment?

    8) Are there any additional details or comments you would like to make?

    1. Anything used improperly can hurt you.

    2. The stock earphones prevent hearing damage as well as any earphone - it boils down to how one uses them.

    3. I've gotten a few well-isolated in-ear headphones partially to prevent hearing damage.

    4. None.

    5. Fully satisfied.

    6. Fully satisfied.

    7. There are already warning texts - but I'm against big flashy signs.
Can't wait to play with the Meizu MX!

Luckily I don't experience it myself. But I can say that it can be a major problem. I know a lot of friends who have reduced hearing, while they're not even 20. If I say that they always listen to the maximum volume, I can think you can make the connection.

    2) As we are all on the same forum for the same brand of DAP, how adequate do you feel the stock earphones are in their ability to prevent hearing damage?
Earbuds, the type of stock earphone as seen with many if not all DAP's, are pretty bad in preventing hearing damage. They offer no isolation, causing people to put the volume louder to overwhelm outside noises.

    3) Have you purchase earphones from other companies? If yes; besides from enhanced sound quality, how adequate do you feel that the earphone you have purchased offer adequate protection of your ears from hearing impairment?
Yes, I've bought IEM's, this type of earphone offers a pretty decent isolation, which results in not needing to put the volume up because of outside noises.

    4) How much effort do you feel that Meizu has put in to development of its DAPs so that it has reduced the hearing impairment from consumers?
No effort at all, the maximum volume level is really high, even with the volume limitation on Dane-Elec Meizu's in Europe. But in my opinion it's more the responsibility of the user, than of the manufacturer because high volume levels say nothing about the actual volume with different earphones.

    5) How satisfied are you with the amount of protection of hearing impairment that the DAP has to offer?
Well, the volume limiter works, sort of.

    6) How satisfied are you with the amount of protection of hearing impairment that your earphone has to offer?
    it's excellent.

7 )How would you feel if companies have warning signs like on cigarette boxes but instead regarding hearing impairment?
As long as it's limited to the manual or the box I'm okay with it.

    8) Are there any additional details or comments you would like to make?
People should be more aware about how bad the earbuds-type of headphones actually is for your hearing.

    1) I believe that listening to DAPs does provide potential risk as users may wish to increase volume output in order to mask exterior noise. As a result, I make sure to control the volume output of my DAP.

    2) I have no idea. I stopped using them after several minutes due to poor sound quality.

    3) Yes, I have purchased a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SL. I would assume that they provide some risk of hearing impairment as they are placed within the ear canal.

    4) As with all DAP manufacturers, no company can completely guard from the hearing impairment of its users. However, I believe Meizu has provided a very useful tool with its volume limiting capabilities on the M6 and M3 models. By limiting the volume, a user can define for his/herself the maximum volume output of their player.

    5) I am very satisfied with the volume-limiting option of the M6.

    6) I am reasonably satisfied. I chose the Sony MDR-EX71SL for the sound quality and insulation. I realize that because the buds are placed within the ear canal that I should be careful to manage the volume level of my DAP.

7 )I believe that many, if not all, companies have such warning labels and I believe they are useful. After all, DAP manufacturers are not completely responsible for user hearing impairment.

    8) No.

    1) If you listen to loud then yeah, you will hurt your eyes. Its peoples own faults.

    2) They are low quality and you have to turn them up louder to hear what you want so maybe that would make a difference. But really its up to the user.

    3) i bought in ear monitors so i do not have to turn the volume up as loud as i used to so my ears do not get stressed as bad

    4) Probably not very much or just as much as anyone else would to cover from liabilities.

    5) satisfied

    6) very satisfied

7 ) i wouldnt care or notice because i think everyone knows if you turn it up too loud bad thing can happen

    8) nope
