Definitely winamp - I've used it ever since I had my Meizu. Works a treat. You have to set up the default directory for the files (I posted a tut before, search for it).

    Meizu+wiamp+Mexp

I agree that the Winamp is the best choice.

The last two versions can see inside the Meizu. And shows by Artist, Albums. etc..
You can see, play, and edit the Playlists too. Even the Playlist made in Meizu.

You can edit the Tags too.

But the Mexp (Winamp Plugin) is better.
You can do everything that the Winamp does and more.
You can edit the Tags just with Drag and drop.
You can see, play, rename, make and edit the Playlists too.
You can create your own fields in the database and you can make your own views.
Is easy to change the Views.
You can move the musics from HD to the Meizu.
You can delete the Musics inside the Meizu.
The musics in the HD and the Meizu is in independent databases.
And you can easy copy to the Meizu

    Meizu+winamp+Meizu is a excellent choice.

I use the MonkeyMedia I won a few months ago from Err0r, but I'm not sure whether you would call it a music manager. In all other cases, like Job, I simply drag and drop from folders

Me too, just drag-and-drop. On the PC I listen mostly using Amarok (available only for Linux so far, soon for windows too), which is fantastic for organising, finding and rating music from all kinds of sources.

I use songbird. Its pretty nice. It is cross platform, so it runs on Linux (yay!), Mac, an Windows. It has a bunch of nice features and add-ons. It looks nice too.

I use Winamp and WMP 11, but I'm not really happy with either. I'm looking for a music manager that give a folder view of my M6. Not a must have but a nice feature.

I just got my Meizu yesterday. I'm still trying to get the Apple monkey off my back.

As I'm 100% Linux with KDE here, another vote for Amarok. It's just bloody awsome!

The main reason I like winamp over wmp is Ive always had stability issues with wmp no matter what version it is. Winamp media library is very fast at its search feature, this is a big deal for me since i have about 400 gb of music on my system. Also winamp only scans the folders I tell it to, and dosent move anything around. If you It has sync funtions but I dont use them because my collection is so huge, I usually just search and drag what i want onto the portable device in the manager, then from there the transfer is fast and painless...

Its really just about personal preference, so you should try lots of things and see what you like. Winamp has always been ultra stable for me, it never crashes, I have it runnning on my pc 24/7. It also uses low resources and the visualizations rock. These are the main reasons I've been a loyal winamp user.

Here are some screenshots of my winamp setup on windows xp with the "MMD3" skin. (see attached)

Same like Jorgeaa ... Meizu+MEXP+Mojopac ... best choice. MEXP, Winamp+Mojopac occupies only 50MByte extra space on Meizu's RAM. So you can take your music to your friends, plug to their WindowsXP computer using the same software like at home.

Beside of manage my huge library J. River Media Center 12 can work with Meizu player in both modes USB MSC and USB MTP both efficiently doing some nice task:

    1. Transferring files to the desire folder in Meizu player in the structure that fit better with user needs.
    2. Transferring automatically cover art in the appropriate folder, according to Meizu methods.
    3. Is capable to advice the available space before transferring files.
    4. Let you organize files within Meizu player.
    5. Address appropriately videos to \VIDEOS folder.

But JR Media Center is not just a transfer tool, can convert any sound files (no videos yet) and play all kind of media, beside of organize the library in your PC in a professional way.
Maybe is not cheap but for a serious collector is the most advanced and powerful organizer.

Can both winamp and mediamonkey 'see inside' the M6SL? I'm not a drag and drop fan. Also which is best media manager to add video?
