it all really depends on how you look at it. personally, since i already have the TP and am happy with it, i'd like to think that it's a limited edition collector's item. :D

I think same way as you glacier, it is not obsolete eriktous since Meizu said they're gonna keep working on firmware updates for the TP for a while.

Lucky those who got a TI (limited release version..), it is indeed a TP but with some conmemorative info engraved on the back:

that's good to hear. although i've lived with other gadgets that didn't have any firmware updates so any new update for my TP is a big plus.

wow, wha's engraved at the back? looks like a seal of some sort. wish i had gotten my hands on one of those but i'm lucky to have an m6 as it is. good thing my sis works in china so i had her buy it for me. (of course, i have to pay her back
