    Chinese Translation

When we "open" the M6 resource.bin file with ResourceEditor 1.22 for example, we can see in the TEXT folder few lines in Chinese in all languages, translated for none of them. They are related to the calendar. Here they are :
    1. 甲乙丙丁戊己庚辛壬癸
    2. 子丑寅卯辰巳午未申酉戌亥
    3. 初一初二初三初四初五初六初七初八初九初十十一十二十三十四十五十六十七十八十九二十廿一廿二廿三廿四廿五 廿六廿七廿八廿九三十
    4. 鼠牛虎兔龙蛇马羊猴鸡狗猪
    5. 正二三四五六七八九十十一腊
    6. 年月闰
It would be great if someone could translate them ! Thanks a lot in advance !

Here is my translation to the best of my knowledge:

    1. traditional way of counting numbers (one to ten)
    2. no idea
    3. the days of the month - first day, second day, etc. etc. and then nineteeth, ... thirtieth is the last value
    4. the chinese zodiac (mouse, bull, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, chicken, dog, boar)
    5. not quite sure, but straightforwardly it is just numbers from two to eleven.
    6. year, month, (something)

After reading the translation, I think it is the text to alter the calender in the M6. Because the calender has these words embeded in them, near the top.

    2子丑寅卯辰巳午未申酉戌亥
Each character is put before 12 Chinese zodiac. and it's used for counting. For example
子 is put before 鼠 .That become 子鼠,means the first zodiac.
    5正二三四五六七八九十十一腊
Each character is put before 12 months in spoken chinese.
二三四五六七八九十十一 mean second third and ....to eleventh.
January December are special. January is 正月。and december is 腊月

    1. really a traditional way for counting numbers, but here we used to count for year, one character from 1. and one character from 2. represent one specific year. E.g. Year 2007 is 丁亥 年(year) in chinese.

    2. specific for counting time in a day, one character is representing two hours. E.g. 子 時(time) = 1200 - 0200

    3. two characters here represent each day in a month. E.g. 初一 = 1st day in the month

    4. each character is representing an animal, which is sth like horoscope in the west. every year would be governing by one of those holy animal. the fortune of one's would also be governing by that holy animal which governing his birth year. E.g. Year 2007 is governed by 猪 (Pig)

    5. each character is usually what we name each month in a calendar , from Jan to Dec

    6. 年(Year) 月(Month) 闰(Double or twice)--> somewhat like the case we have when Feb have 29 days, we will add this character before the month to indicate. E.g. 闰年 (The year which Feb will have 29 days)

    p.s. I am also a Chinese....~!
