How do you randomize music into the M6?

Hello to all. I wanted to post this question to the group at large to gather some data.

I've been using the M6 for a while now, and I'm using it with WMP 11 on my PC. I sync my podcasts and a randomized playlist of music until my 2GB M6 is full. Here's my pet peeve.

WMP 11 randomization sucks. 70% of the time the software sends the same music over and over to the player. I know this is not the M6's fault, but bear with me.

As you know, there's currently no way to rank songs via the M6 (a la iPod). Apparently, WMP randomizing function does not provide a lot of enthropy to randomize songs. I've never ranked my songs, yet. So I can't create auto-playlists based on ranking.

I've tried Winamp, WMP, MediaMonkey. I'm searching for a player that syncs my M6, and provides me with a nice shuffle function.

    Any suggestions?

Why don't you just use the "Random" function on the M6 ?

I do that when doing playback. Is getting a random mix of music <i>into</i> the player.
