Thanked 5 Times in 5 PostsI voted 'depends', for the simple reason that I'm still choosing between a Xiaomi M1 or a Meizu MX. The first is cheaper, while still having good specs, and the Meizu has awesome specs, but is a lot more expensive... The quad MX is double the price of the Xiaomi...
For both phones the actual delivery date is still unknown... The Xiaomi has started shipping, but it is unsure when the first phones be available for international shipping... For Meizu, well, we all know that when Jack says a October 1st release date, he actually means january 1st. These letters are really close on the keyboard, so I can understand that mistake.
If Meizu wants to stay in the race, they will have to release soon!

Thanked 7 Times in 6 PostsFor me it depends on price, hardware specific, design, volume of speaker (single or dual?), first videos - hands on, software and it´s stable, bugs and more, but I still have my M8 for trade-in program...I want quad-core version...we will see

No, because I'm still pretty happy with the M9, and if I were to upgrade it would be to something that is either easy to root, or pre-rooted.

I'm totaly disappointed with my M9, the only positive aspects are: resolution and good speed and really good sound while You listen on phones, and everything else is sheet 4 me.....
1st October.... we'll see, if I were to be decided on the purchase, then i'll buy only 32GB.
But before I decide must meet some very important things for me.
My vote is Depends.http://www.meizume.com/polish/

Thanked 46 Times in 41 PostsDefinitely not. I've learnt that the money you 'save' by going with Meizu you lose with time, sanity, quality and freedom. You are buying prototype hardware and software, it's not a good deal.
I'll be getting the Samsung Nexus Prime, which may be more expensive, but it's an official Google phone, so it'll be constantly updated and supported. It'll also be unlocked, make from quality components, and made to official Android specification. Rumoured specs are:
4.65" 1280 x 720 AMOLED PLUS screen
Dual-core 1.5GHz Exynos processor
2000 mAh battery
Ice-cream Sandwich OS (Android 2.4)
1GB memory
Anyone who buys the MX at launch is a fool IMO. Meizu already made it clear that they don't give a crap about their international users, so what makes everyone so sure that this will pan out better? Either go for a trusted brand, or wait until Meizu prove themselves worthy of your cash. Somehow, I doubt this phone will live up to the hype.

Thanked 14 Times in 14 PostsI voted NO, not because i am not interested but the M9 is perfectly fine, it's my first smartphone and i am pretty happy with it. And i only buy new mobile phone when the current one is broken, so i get used to keep my mobile phone for a pretty long time (5 years or more). So i hope i can keep the M9 for several years.

Thanked 7 Times in 6 PostsIt is seen that most people do not expect that issue Meizu MX spoken by date. 1. December is more trustworthy.

it reall depends for me too.
So far mostly all about the MX is guesswork!
With the specs announced so far it is too expensive and to outdated with it's hardware specs. I really hope meizu is going to surprise us!
If you the improvements from M9 to MX will be as high as with M8 to M9, I think it is going to be a great phone. But let's see.
One of meizu's biggest advantages to other main stream companies is that they are not well know and that their phones are special and rare in the world. I always like to have special unique products (for me as a non-chinese-living). If Meizu is ever going to make it international, it's products have to be much more advanced as they are today. Cause then they lost the 'unique-factor' and after that I can buy apple/samsung/hatc/meizu doesn't matter then. I hope you understand what I mean.MX-HK, M9, M8, M6SL
