that is awful for you. of all the angles it could land on as well. meizu do have a good reputation for fixing these things for free/at a low price.

man, I feel with you. Hopefully you'll get it back soon. I don't know if they are already handling customer repairs, because they are busy producing.

hey Crimson I'm very happy for you man!
But I wonder about the custom fee.
Wasn't the any as you got it the first time? In germany yu just have to pay one time custom for you device. if you ever have to send it to china for warranty reasons, they can not charge you any customs on return.
But I assume you had not payed customs in the first place...
Do you have a buying bill for the M9? I think if you would have showed that to the customs this time, they would have asked 'where is your custom' receipt?' so they would knew that you got it into the country without customs. you would have a problem then I think. You know what I mean.
I think you did it the right way.

If I remember right, you are pretty handy with programming, right?! you think you could make IGO navigation to fullscreen on M9?

    Update:

The high price at the customs is the result of this calculation:

    (value + default shipping charce) * 19%

In other words i payed tax for the shipping twice.

So ask for a detailed invoice if you sent your M9 for repair.
