    and if everything adds up...
my wonderful M8 would need to break down by accident

I think it will be nice... marrying Meizu's awesome hardware and workmanship skills with a mature OS such as Android, and a custom UI layer just like HTC's Sense.

how soon is soon ? thats the right question ! and secondly is it going to be quality ? because my m8's touch functionality just broke after just 6 month of use ! this is shit ! if the m9 is going to be as reliable then i'd rather not !

Since I am not a fanboi it really depends on the specs, prize, release date, etc. If they can offer a similar deal like they did with the M8 (good hardware, open FW, decent price, excellent quality) I might consider it.

If it doesn't lack too much important features I'm looking for, I might going import one and skip the M8 completely. Though about soon, I'm a bit skeptical here.

I'm betting on Q4 2010 or Q1 2011. Rumors are pointing toward an October release.

The M9 doesn't have any outstanding features, i will stick with my M8. maybe in the future I will be able to port Android operating system into it. Very disappointed that Meizu never exported out side of china.

Well if they bring android 2.2 to the M9 and it has good specs for a decent price. It will be hard to say no. But I think I can stick with my M8 without any problems if they release android for it.

    We will see I guess

The most importatnt reasons why I'm owner Meizu device i the:
    1. Price
    2. Very good Sound quality, THD about 0,015~0,017 % and much more details than I ever heard on similar smarphones.
3 Aware that nobody have same phone as I.

But the Competition never sleep, and comparing, I have to mention a few features, which, through technological development, embody the name of the compulsory elements of the new devices.

So... I'll Buy new M9 if meets severeals conditions:
    1. AMOLED capacitive touchscreen (Long live-time and save space.
    2. Minimum 5 Mpix matrix camera, wide - 16:9 - resolutions for photos, of course auto focus lens, Recoring in 720p 30fps and for goodness sake at least one LED FLASH.
    3. So when U have a very good quality multimedia, HDMI OUT could be handy when U want to show some photos/videos on big Screen.
    4 Compulsory GPS/Compass.
5 Maby new sound chip like Wolfson WM8995.

I must said: If The Samsung Galaxy S have LED FLASH on back, HDMI OUT and support audio codec like FLAC or APE, then that smartphone I'll buy.

In a recent post JW mentioned it should cost no more than 2380 RMB with headphones and memory card (not sure what capacity). That's the price M8 was sold at.

First I want a fully functional FW 1.0 in english for my M8.
That would be great. They should try to make their actual hardware usable before they put in new Phones in the market.
I'm too afraid to be a beta-Tester again when i buy an M9!

Since obviously WP7 will implement some ad-device like iOS4 and Google started to remote-kill Android-apps, I will try to avoid said OS's in the future. This means, if the M9 uses Android I will think twice before buying it.
