Very dead X6!

Bit of a long story this so here goes!
I have an X6 which I was very happy with and worked perfectly until one day I restarted my pc with the usb still connected.
During the restart a blue text screen appeared which said something along the lines of "found a new drive..." and "we strongly recommend that you...something". I noticed that the text was changing and something was happening so in a panic I pulled out the usb cable and when I tried to start my X6 afterwards it was dead, nothing. I looks like the computer gave me no option before it started doing whatever it was doing (i suspect that it has reformatted the X6 or something).
I then connected the X6 again and was surprised to find that the computer recognized it but it was impossible to explore the drive folder. I decided to install the firmware again to see if this would help but when I connected it again afterwards the X6 was completely dead, absolutely no sign of life, it can't turn on, it's not recognized by the computer (yes I tried connecting it to other computers and tried alternative usb cables and same result) and there is no reaction when I have tried to recharge it!
Is there anybody out there that has had a similar problem? There seems to be pretty much zero information on the X6 out there now so I would be really grateful if someone could shed some light on this problem.
Also not too sure how you perform a hard reset? Please help if you can, all I want is my little X6 to come back to life!

Thanks, I'll give it a go. Feels like I'm a bit behind with the X6 but it worked so well that I would love to bring it back to life!

I have the same problem with my meizu m6 sp 4gb. Just flash but does not work. When usb pluged does not recognise. In dfu server just says:failed to open file m6.ebn! In the mirror image 1 appear SST39VF800.dfu, in the mirror image 2 is not possible to type nothing. If with you was all ok please teach me fix the mine. From Brazil adcinco@hotmail.com,
