They said they fixed the problems they had with the m9, so that's why it's released at the same time.

Also, I uploaded a mirror for m9 update:

Just a friendly tip: Export your contacts in FlyMe to SD card before upgrading as I've found Google Sync did not work the way I wanted it to in Flyme... Make sure your contacts appear at http://contacts.google.com correctly before updating!
Importing contacts from SD in ICS works fine.

so far working fine without crashes. ICS is a little strange on the phone (had it for weks now in my tablet), but it's not bad.
still, there are some things i miss/dislike:
    - cannot lock the screen with the back button while on the home screen
    - no blinking light notification on incoming events
    - no meizu music player ( and google play music is also not preinstalled, have to get it as some apk and istall from the memorycard
    - cannot seem to launch messages or dialer directly from the lock screen, unlike the camera app, which i never use
    - gmail app not present by default, the play market says it's not compatible with the device, so needs to be installed from sdcard also
    - every incoming message (no matter if gtalk or sms or mail) has the same notification tone
    - unremovable google search bar at the top
    - battery going down seriously fast, okay, have to admit that i was pestering the phone all afternoon, but it went from 100% to 56% in just 3 hours (installing apps, setting things up, etc)
    - automatic screen brightness doesn't seem to work too well, as if it was only guessing the light levels
    略懂
