binary?
I dont have a minplayer yet, but I dl the resource editor to have a look. There is a tab called binary, and I was wondering what that does. It just seems to open a file with a load of hexedecimal in it.
Also, is it possible to change the shape and size of things like progress bars, or do they have to stay the same as in the original resource.bin?
Thanks

Well, if you know low level programming, with this tab you can change/see most of the firmware's behavior, which is at all times not recommended, so if you dont want a crashed out player, do not modify it. (i guess such option is not available but, it worths the advice :D)

If you screw up the firmware, can you format the player and install the officil one again?

teorically yes... but, since low level works with hardware without any protection level (lets call it OS) you have direct access to many attributes and functionality that can really screw up something, i mean letting the thing useless.
Same when you're programming with assembler that you can literally burn a monitor just changing its working frecuency, said that, it's up to you.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsyes, there actually is the slightest chance that you will kill your player by editing it, of course, if you could program, you could make the firmware enable the miniplayer to behave like an i-mate, but I stick with swapping pictures!
