Wishlist for Firmware 2.003

I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread regarding updates and improvements that we wanna c in the upcoming firmware.

So I'll start with my contributions:

1. PNG pitcure support
2. A-B Repeat
3. Be able to open pitcures from browser mode.
4. Some more games; Tetris, BubbleGun.
5. Perhaps flash support

-view your (sunbird) appointments using the build in calendar.

Oh well... adding appointments to the calander seems to be a good idea.
the do not have to be editable in player, but beeing able to add them on pc is enogh.

I guess something like video bookmarks would be cool.

Being able to zoom images would be amazing too =D

As for supporting flash - its never going to happen - macromedia have only just released a player for linux, let alone a barely known manufacturer of mp3 players.

You know.......i like my miniplayer the way it is :D

Am i the unik person to want to see the SrS wOw come back for our SP verions... Since i had lost my TP verion... I'm lost in my poor hears... lol

You know, back at the meizu.se forum there were a lot of discussions about just SRS, some people meant it distorts the actual music, and I agree on the most part, but in heavy techno, disco kind of songs it's really "prolong" the music experience (really don't know how to put it, anyway) . I guess it would be good if it were to be intergrated again, so people can choose what kind of effects they want, but I believe there were something about missing licenses for that? I know many people have been complaing about the Spatializer replacement of SRS.. and I really don't know what to do about it, perhaps downgrading would be an option *not* . To be serious I would also like to c it back in the player if it would be possible..

Gapless Playback
LINE OUT!!! I'm sure there's a way so that within the settings menu to convert the headphone out into a line out. That would really be awesome.

I concur it would be awesome, but I doubt it's possible.. =/
What do you mean by Gapless playback?

Actually what about .wmv with DRM etc ?
Would be cool ...

There's no pause inbetween tracks. Like if you were listening to a live concert recorded, the transition from track 1-2 or 2-3 is fluid.

Now that I think of it, before gapless playback, I'd like Meizu to fix the end of track stutter problem!

Calendar notes
The ability to pause and unpause music while viewing pictures (this is a real hassle when you need to pause the music but have to go out of pictures to do it)
.PNG support
The ability to set the auto shut off time (perhaps a similar set of amounts as the backlight timer)

My wish list:

*left handed support for all you lefties

*GIF support

*More games

*"skin applyer"- apply a skin form within the player!

*While we are on skinning, maybe a "color scheme" thing. Like you can choose a color from the display menu and the player would skin everything that color (progress bar, menu bar, battery, ect.)

*BETTER RANDOM MODE! I here the same song 2-3 times a day sometimes!

*easier way to put album art on player

*new icons (random, repeat, ect.)

I´d like :

- Possible to change "NOW PLAYING" to list mode . Would be possible to see the next musics. (...like Winamp)
- Browse music by GENRE
- The options PLAY ALL for Artist. (All Albums)

I'm going to strongly concur for the ability to switch to the list mode, seriously. Its kinda part of the whole OTG playlisting feature, which I find is somewhat incomplete on the meizu.

LOL new firmware hasn't even been released for a day and the wishlist is up for a new firmware... we are enthusiastic aren't we?

I would like to see an improvement in battery life (doesn't feel longer then before), and I'd like to see a change in "now playing" window format - make album art bigger, and show visualiser on the same screen ^^
