I downloaded current firmware but still no album art.

The main reason I downloaded firmware was for album art. Well I just sownloaded S2.004.6, and I created a sub-folder in the music folder, and put some jpg files titled (AlbumName.jpg) but still no album Art. Can someone please give me any ideas?

The way it's done here usually works for me:

album name...for eg. "Still Fantasy"....this is entered into the song's id3 tag. The filename of the song doesn't matter.

Filename of the pic is "Still Fantasy.jpg"

The location of the pic and song is together under the MUSIC folder. Can be within the MUSIC folder or in a sub-directory also works fine. Of course if a lyric file is present the picture doesn't appears. Not the best way for album art, but it'll do for now.

Oh yes....i resized the image to 200x200 as done by those above.

No need for any "Album" / "Albums" folder. Just put a certain album's song into its' own folder, under the MUSIC folder, edit the id3 tag (or pic filename) to match, and voila! instant gratification.
The easiest way I do it now is to sync with mp3's I have in Windows Media Player 11 that has album art, just set the USB mode in the M6's settings to MTP.

album art is not up to firmware.You should put your Album Picture with mp3 file in the same folder. Then, rename picture the same with Mp3 ID3.
For example: your music is Bye Bye (marih cary - E=mc2 ), your album picture name should be "E=mc2.jpg"
=========================
Another way:
1. made a folder in your M6 root (name: ALBUMS)
2. put pictures in that folder
3. rename those pictures the same as your music ID
===========================
Attention: If your music contain lyric. Album would not display!
I'm Chinese, my English is not very good. Hope you can understand me.
