Not dead, but it refuses my help

According to the backside of my Meizu M6, I have "Version: SP". So I keep trying to get firmware such as M6_S2002.6 and so on - that's the correct one, right?

So it keeps updating everytime I put the two files of the rar in my root-folder, but right after, it FORMATS. I don't know why. What could be the problem?

Edit: In better detail, this is what I do.

    Download the aforementioned firmware-version.
Put the files in my empty MP3-player, in the root.
Disconnect (where it tells me I have no resource)
    Turn off
    Turn back on
    White screen
    It turns itself off
    I turn it back on
    "Please wait... formatting..."
    "No Resource!..."

If you get the No Resource message, then just copy the "resource.bin" file to the root of your player and restart it.

Ah, hm. Well, that seems to make sense, but I also have other good news, everyone.

Right after posting this, I was majorly pissed and decided to force a turn-off of my Meizu (Pressing Enter for ten seconds) and I noticed a square on my screen. So I figured - my touchpad must be out of calibration. So although there was no text, I pressed play to calibrate and turned it off. And 'lo and behold, it did NOT format on the next start up but actually installed the firmware properly. AND I wasn't late for my bus. This morning ended up working out fine, after all.

tl;dr – It apparently didn't work because my touchpad was out of calibration. Strange, but whatever.

I'm very sorry for bothering you. Thanks again for your help, nice2know_u!
