A new firmware 2004.7 for the SL download is available at the Meizu site
or via a direct link

It doesn't say what the improvements / fixes are.

2.004.7 is old, already posted, and not a recommended update as none of the old skins work.

Strange that it says Update:2009-1-10 on their site though.

Accidental discovery

Bought Meizu as a present, played with it, loved it.

End of story.

for me, this conclusion is so stupid... A lot of time crying to get the slowness in long playlists repaired, the "music flicker" when next song is played and once its repaired you (not personal Err0r, i mean the community) say is a bad firmware because none of the old shitty skins are not compatible.

I don't understand you.

None of the bugs were fixed with this firmware version, they removed the "box man" game and reduced the brightness of the screen.

New Firmware ver 2004.7 for M6 SL version

Actually we improve some hardware quality. To be compatible with it, we only need to update a new version SL firmware. And this firmware is also compatible with previous goods. That means nothing is changed apparentlly.

Hi there,

What would be the recommended firmware to have on the SL, and how do I check what is currently installed?

I would say the 2004.6. I don't see much useful in this one.

Go Settings -> About to find out what's currently installed.
