You can always go back to what ever firmware you had just by reinstalling it again. I updated my firmware to S1.009 and didn't like the sound quality (lack of SRS) then a few weeks later switched back to the S1.007 firmware that sounded much better to me. The only down side to this is there are a few quirks that were fixed with the S1.009 firmware that I would like to keep--but in the end I'd rather have better sound quality than superior functionality.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postsmeh, with the equalizer and a good pair of head/earphones, there should be no need for any of those sound enhancement gimmicks.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI have a question, for those who know: Is it possible to load this V1.007 firmware on my miniplayer even though it's already been updated to V1.010? After that, can it be reloaded to V1.010 in case I'd have to? I REALLY wanna hear the SRSwow effects, but don't want to screw up my now rare version player (wish I'd known about the player when black was still available!).
I'm saving this version myself just to save the SRS code in whatever fasion it's in now. Someday, someone might be able to reverse engineer it into newer firmware!
On another note, I think we should start a thread to archive all firmware versions and what changes there are, since Meizu somehow thinks it would be "confusing" to users to keep older firmware than the current version up for download, unlike many other companies that keep it all archived for users to choose what they want or need.I swim through a sea of stars, without looking back to shore...

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIs/was there such a function in the Mini/M6 before? I have a SP, nothing I've found there, although some things that according to the name could be something similar (Phase Corrected Equalizer, Spatializer Mode: Natural Headphones) but they all sound like shit without the effect I get from http://bs2b.sourceforge.net/ in foobar2000.
