triple tapping the middle of the touchpad

This is a discussion on triple tapping the middle of the touchpad within the Firmware forums, part of the miniPlayer M6 / SL category; I like what nizzon has done with the mockup, except for the spectrum analyzer. Honestly, I think that's just unnecessary ...

I like what nizzon has done with the mockup, except for the spectrum analyzer. Honestly, I think that's just unnecessary bling. All it really does is give you something to show off, but it's not really something that'll keep me interested for more than, like, 2 seconds. The album artwork, on the other hand, should be bigger then it is now, though I'm already happy that it's finally there.

And i don't see the point of having such big-ass album art. Who looks long at them anyway.... it's just good to know they're there.
I agree on this. Also, think about how it would look with lyrics. Side-scrolling hell.

First off, it wasn't mentioned that the pic was photoshopped anywhere before your post, kennyboy... second, it didn't look like a photoshopped image because the screen blurring sorta effect made it look like a real image, just like actual pics I've seen of the M6 before I bought mine.

Third, I wanna make my own mockup to show what I'd do with the screen... after I move. I'm too busy now, just have time to pop in here for a bit and go.

well, most things in this world don't have to be told to us before we see it for what it is. It's ok. just learn and you won't commit the same error next time.

You do notice the sharp text along with the blurred images right? And that the text doesn't seem to be slanted along with the screen.

Actually the text for track/artist/album is just moved a bit so its slanted just right. its the spectrum analyzer thats added and slanted in the wrong way. Also added tracktime and tracknumber.

Of course we shouldnt be forced to have this layout, but they should give us options to the one we allready have.
