I haven't been in here for a while. Is there anything new coming up? 2.004.6 firmware was the latest right? Something new, refereshing for M6 would be great, I read about some beta firmware that someone tested, it had clock repaired for example. Anything new on that?

i come here every day, and have not heard of any news, i wish the rockbox project finally got some results, but that's (also) still nothing at the moment.
And i have not seen a new beta firmware either, otherwise i would very much like to try it!

(anyone correct me if i'm wrong?)

ahhh too bad, I think my player is failing, the touchpad thing is very weird, sometimes it goes crazy without any reason, and the M button is failing as well, when I press it it sometimes chaning the song to the previous one.

oh well it's time for a new piece of hardware, and I'm 90% sure it's not going to be meizu...

Its too bad we see more and more of these kind of messages here.
Understandably, people are getting tired of waiting.
lucky for meizu the Iphone is not yet widly available in China and too expensive so meizu can still have big impact on their home market

You can't keep rebuying the m6sl forever, that's at least what I think.

I'm losing hope for Meizu ...they just don't seem to care too much about addressing the bugs on the m6
and don't tell me they're busy with the m8 cuz so far we've seen anything but results and heck they don't even have a projected release date...
and don't even get me started on the so called 'M7'....
The only reason I still use mine is becuz of the rockbox project that hopefully will be completed sooner than later unlike Meizu's products...

I am still happy with my m6. I guess they broke the mold. Why would I want something different? The miniplayer should stay around, and the people at Meizu should focus on fixing existing problems with it. The size & shape, looks, and especially the sound is great. It will be a classic. I am always happy to use this marvelous device.
