New Firmware Improvements

I figured that the members of this community would like to know what's potential changes will be released once the Beta testing of the new firmware is completed. So this is the thread where you get the scoop.

Changes:
1. You can play full-length movies in one file (2 hours)
2. The Meizu Auto-updates after you unplug it from the computer
3. You have the option to do the manual update or update through WM10 and higher - also a new option where the Meizu doesn't appear as removable storage but as a "Device"
4. Instead of fading effects with the menu bar (in the Meizu GUI), there is a blend option (much nicer)
5. The MOVIE folder is now called the VIDEO folder
6. The Sound 'sounds' more refined and clear - but I don't know why

No changes in (including menus):
1. FM Radio
2. Photo
3. Video
4. Games/Tools
4. Sound Effects
5. Start up/Shut down
6. Backlight timer or backlight effect

AS FOR BATTERY LIFE: I'll update once I get to use it - it's charging for this night.

All in all, good so far, and as stable as a Beta can get.

WANTED CHANGES:
-Same menu/button functions in Music, Movie, Photo, and FM modes
-Ability to change the 'idle time to shutdown'
-Photo Mode - Option to not have the "IMG###" displayed at the bottom of the screen each time you click ">>|" to select a new photo
-eBook mode: White text on black background
-Standby mode (instead of shut down) and user changable standby/off timer
-Touchpad sensitivity option
-one tap on bottom (or top) of touchpad is pgup or pgdn
-two taps on bottom (or top) of touchpad will scroll through letters of the alphabet (ex. A --> 2 taps --> B)
-When searching by arsitst, have "all songs" option instead of having to look through each individual album
-When you exit from the "artist" search, but do not enter another search, I would prefer to not have to scroll back to that artist
(functionality like iPod)

That's not a change. It's been proven that full length movies do work with the current firmware.
