This new firmware's improvements do sound quite good. The possible battery increase is quite good...Its already a great lasting player...
As for DRM support...I don't really care for it, as I buy CD's, not online...

Apart from the 3 major changes are there any announced other changes? Such as improved startup speed or new picture transitions? (Just throwing up ideas)
