I have a white screen problem. I have a M6 Miniplayer SP I bet you guys are getting tired of this, but this isn't very ordinary from the ones I have read. I have tried DFU Tools, but Windows still detects this as a "drive", not a DFU compatible thing, so I cannot install drivers onto this. All it says is that it cannot find any software for it when I try. I have tried this on 2 computers so far. Both have failed. The only methods I have tried are the M + Power button, and holding the arrow button. This was after I tried updating to the latest FW also. Any suggestions on this?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsTry re-installing the Firmware for your player.
Also, check you have the correct firmware, as it can lead to 'undesired' effects, such a white screen.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsIf your player is detected as a drive it's good!
Just download the correct firmware for your player:
http://en.meizu.com/downfile/S2004.6_Meizu_En.rar
(Please do double check the back of your player if there really is "SP" written, instead of "SL")
And just extract the contents of that archive to the root of your player. If all goes fine, it'll restart, you'll get some more white, then shut down in some 20 seconds or so, then when you start it, it'll be good.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI'ved tried reinstalling the FW, but no luck. I've tried 1.009 SP and 2004.6. When I put the FW into the root of the drive and then reboot my Meizu, it still just opens as a white screen.
[Edit: Oh woops. I didn't finish reading Seeder's post when I posted this. I'll try this method now.]
[Second Edit: Doesn't really work for me. It just still turns white and stays there. And when I try to restart it with the select/back arrow, same white screen. Also when I try to hook it back to the computer, it tells me to reformat the Meizu again.]Last edited by Takishiama; 04-12-2008 at 03:24 PM.

Thanked 0 Times in 0 Postserm. Don't restart it. Wait after putting the new firmware on for it to shut down till the black screen. Don't do anything then, it's updating.
If that won't work it's either wrong firmware or not working player.
