I dunno for an SL version but I guess it is the same as with an SP version as the Samsung LCD display remains the same
and here the tricky thing is that :
1)not two M6 versions are guaranteed to display the 'same image' ; at this hardware level it is very difficult to tell if it is due to some 'variations' among the LCDs that Meizu gets from Samsung , or if there has been some tweakings on the M6 ,at the hardware leve, from time to time
2) all this gets even more difficult to handle when you realize that , for a given one M6 , the firmware version does change the display aspect ; for instance on a M6 8GB I tried a 4.3 ( or some previous 4.x version , don't remember exactly which one) firmware and it turned out that the screen was much overbright which would cause obvious color banding and clouding in dark areas
so I *had to* get back to even 2.002.3 firmware to get rid of these annoying problems and get a smooth more natural display with (almost) no visible artefacts ; a more recent 2.003.2 was close though.
I have no real clue whether it is only hardware related or a mixed bag with firmware but since I did noticed this simply by watching , all I can say is that the firmware version can modify the way the LCD will display, this contrary to what Meizu says "display aspect is only hardware related" ...
as a consequence you have to be careful with your video encodings since upgrading to a more recent firmware can.... 'boost' the visible perception of compression artefacts ! not much interesting
