has someone tested if the "128 songs per artist" limitation in the library still exists ? I would like to show 20 albums of the same artist with about 12 songs each. And while we're at it, is the 2048 files limit still there as well ?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsYeah - its a joke that it has to Update Library for no reason. I run my 8gb M6 maybe once a day(For Excercising) and am not syncing any new music to it, but everytime I turn it on it has to update, and because its 8gb and nearly full, takes 2-3 minutes.
This player is a lost cause - I got my kid a Creative Zen, and love the interface and feature set so much more, after waiting forever for Meizu to address basic functionality issues

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsI just received my player (SP version) and updated the firmware...
So the stuttering on this one is still present :'(
the cause of the stuttering is the embedded album art right?
maybe they try to "play" the embedded image in some mp3's and that causes the stuttering...
meizu either is very ignorant about these complaints or they never heard of embedded album art before...
i am hoping in a future firmware they will just read the album art out of the mp3 itself, and not a seperate file, and the stuttering will most certainly be gone at the same time they do that, becouse the cause of the stuttering is mostly that exact thing...
the library takes 15 minutes to update when i filled my player with music...
and there is still a maximum amount of files you can put on the player(like 2048 or something)
can anyone tell if there is a schedule available where we can see the upcoming formware releases?

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsWhere is the English Menu setting again for 2.004.5!
I know this has been adressed time and time again, but I can't seem to find the path to get the language swiched over to English from Chinese. I just spent 15 minutes searching and reading the posts here but its not where some say it is on this new 2004.5 Was another menu item added on this firmware causing the previous location description to be gone.
I thought it was:
Main menu, second from the bottom, 6th item down but it doesn't seem to be there.
Can anybody help me out

Thanked 0 Times in 0 PostsMine is 8GB and it only takes about 15 seconds to update. I have around 500 songs and 27 hours of video on it.
Hang on, if you only use it once a day for a few hours, don't keep pluging it in. You should only need to charge it once a week or so and if you don't charge it everyday, it won't update.
