M6.EBN contains firmware ( different for SP or TP MiniPlayer )

resource.bin contains skin, included language. ( same for both )

You can modify resource.bin , have a look here

Well, I've applied a new skin but it didn't affect the language.

I'am trying to find out how to activate radio functions and keeping the language I use (dutch). There must be a way avoiding a complete new english menu which I don't want. Any suggestion?
In other words how to extract that part from the M6.EBN file which activates the radio.

    Activating radio without applying firmware

There should be a way of just activating radio functions without applying firmware, but I do have no idea how .

There's no way, Dane-Elec firmware comes limeted with radio disabled and volume restricted. Its up to you if you want to change the firmware or just keep your player without radio.
Internet has an answer for every question out there, not likely to be always the answer you're looking for.

yeah thats what i thought. the only way to activate the radio and lift the volume limit is to put the original Meizu firmware on it. this will change your player to English(or chinese )
oh and it will void the warranty you have on it

    ???

If you put a new resource.bin , languages come with it.

If you still have dutch, it must be because the skin you choose contains dutch language.

Wich skin did you apply ?

I think that you menu stays Dutch because you (and me) also have Dutch Dane-Elec firmware. The Meizu firmware is only English or Chinese.

But is I understand PoUëT correctly, I can flash the latest firmware into my player, which will give me Chinese & English language.
Then get the Dutch language by also updating the latest resource file?

Nope that wont work as the Dutch resource you got with your Dutch player is by Dane Elec. Unfortunately, they dont release their firmware to be re-installed.

What's wrong with English??? You seem perfectly capable in writing it so why not reading it on the player ;-) I have flashed my player and now have FM Radio and no volume restriction at 33. Definately worth it!!

You're completely right. But I'm trying to find out to upgrade (for radio and volume 40) AND keeping the dutch language:D
There must be a way but it could be very long
