Read FAQ section then, there's clearly explained how to use DFU. Be sure about the version of DFU you're using also: There's one for TPs and one for SPs

I've tried the SP version of DFU that's on the forum, and followed the directions exactly. The same thing happens; i.e. nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated; I've got a very shiny and expensive paperweight right now.

Ok, if you're getting a black screen you may try holding Menu and Power button while connecting to your pc. Keep em hold and try to run DFU tool again

I've been trying that, with no luck. I've held

M, then play, then connected
Play, then M, then connected
Held both while connected
Held <---, then play, then connected

None will work. Sometimes when I hold <---- then press play while disconnected I get a split-second flash on the screen. That's the only response I've gotten since I upgraded the firmware.

I'm beginning to think this thing is hopeless.

You must hold M, then press and hold Power On. After connecting with pressed keys to USB, you must install recovery drivers. If no installation is triggered after connecting, try other computer. Also, I have found, that DFU tools have problems with USB2.0. So, if your BIOS allows it, disable USB2.0 support and work only with slower speed.

New version (S2.002.3) is released.

Hi, I have just updated my firmware to Your, multilanguage version of firmware, And I see, that the polish translation for M6 is very bad (it looks like translated by guy from other country), I can make a new polish translation with new texts and no gramathic mistakes, if You want.

Ok so make it, i can help too but i dont know how to change language in fw. If you have any instructions i'd be thankfull. Is there a polish type also like: ę, ą, ś, &#243; etc?

It could be (en) language too but i need polish type to read e-books.

TP version isn`t officially for european market (but it is selled here, maybe this is import from Asian markets). So we support only SP version.

normalne to urobis nahras FW nahodis ho do adresara hlavneho odpojis player z pc. vypnes ho a zapnes tot vse. ja som si kupil meizu cez ebay a uz som prehral a je z neho emgeton hehe

Hi, how is the work on Polish menu going ?? The one is in Emgeton firmware right now is almost useless, I wouldn't include it in this condition. I can help as well.

@Betacart: I noticed your website states AVI playback is optional. What exactly does that mean, and if I switched to your firmware, would I lose video playback?
