I did ask him again that it isn't our songs who cause the problem, but he is still sure that is the mp3 itself with imperfections or extreme encoding.

"Hi TheTorminator!.
As I mention in my last answer. The stuttering MP3 itself has imperfections or extreme encoding. One of the decoder will miss the imperfections or extrme encoding and start with the coming perfect encoding. So you won't hear the stuttering. But M6's decoder is the second one. When face this encoding, it will manage them. Mostly it will failed to manage them. So you will hear the stuttering."

What do you think about it everyone? Is that really true?

I know the case about the Philips audio decoder, if so I can’t see any other way that you might have right DaremoS in that with the Philips audio decoder. It's a hardware malfunction, right?
So there is not really nothing to do than reconvert our music and no possible coming fix by firmware upgrade?

The least I can say is that the person your are talking with is sincere about this issue of the Philips decoder in MP3 files with some troubles. And... unfortunately... yes to the second question. So I've converted my valuable MP3 with failures (for my M3) is to convert them to OGG and play them in my Meizu device.

I would like to know what experience have had a user of M6SL I know from other forums (here)... trying to fix his stuttering Mp3 by re-tagging or using one of those programs stuttering fixer that I've read (not recoding it of course). As we know M6SL has a Wolfson audio decoder.

Interesting, there are several SL owners around here who complain about the stutter issue too, but why should this happen on this decoder too? It’s still a bit weird that the problem should be placed inside our songs. Just simply because other devices play them nicely.
I will now then try asking about this decoder.
I hope too that something like Rockbox (when it get released) can tell us a little if this really is a hardware or a software issue.

I'll repeat myself in a previous post, but is also what the Meizu person confirm in his answer in the paragraph that started Firstly, the decoder has two ways to decode...
A PC decoder is capable to manage and compensate minor errors in MP3 encoded (some old encoders or small failures), also is capable to manage extra information added in tags. Most DAP decoders of other brand are capable to do this too... only Meizu CPU chip SA58700X07 in combination with Philips audio decoder UDA1380TT isn't capable to manage some of this failures and send them as stutters.
I think that this combination have some problem in design.

he said: One of the decoder will miss the imperfections or extrme encoding (sic)... extreme encoding probably is a big picture used as embedded cover art. For instance a pic of over 600x600.

Anyway it's a good question
