A bit of a problem

Hi there!

I've updated my M6SP with the Emgeton S2004.4 firmware yesterday (before that I've used official S2004.3 and before that the Emgeton S2003.2). It seemed to work perfectly like any firmware before, but when a song played through, it crashed and a loud high pitched noise started coming out. It doesn't react to neighter reset, nor a USB cable plugged in. Does anybody have an idea what options do I have besides waiting for the battery to run out?

Thanks for any help in advance

Hi, can you be more detailed? I never see this kind of problem.

The crash happened exactly when changing between songs. Then it started playing a loud static noise.
I put the official firmware on for now, but if you want, I can try to test around this issue in the weekend with your firmware.

My player also did freeze yesterday night, but there was no noise that time, and I wasn't listening to it (although it was playing, I was trying to see if it will crash again), so I can't know for sure at what point did it crash exactly.

P.S.: In the Hungarian language resource strings, at index 106, "Dalok" should be adjusted to "Dal Sorrend"

OK, please, test it more. You can also send me songs, which causes this, because I have it OK with mine. Also, if you want to revise hungarian translation, send me PM, I will tell you more.

Well, I've been trying to recreate it for quite some time now, and no success... I'll keep using the firmware and see if it does the freezing again, if so I'll tell you any info I can think about it.
