Player freezes? Rants inside!

After updating to the 4.1 betas I think (and the firmware just before it)
while viewing pictures and such or just going thru the menu, the letters will turn into symbols or the player will freeze and wont change pictures.

Couple other annoyances:
How do I go back to menu from recording??!
Video-audio lag in a good bit of videos?
GIF files play very slowly
Recorded files play back very quickly. fast forwarded basically.

Any ideas to any of this? Trying the *4.3 official releases now. We'll see how that goes.

yea had the same problem. i upgraded the firmware to 2.4.4 and now it doesnt happen as often. pic works fine now.

Sl player? Im using an SP.
The 2.004.3 didnt help anything.

press and hold Enter for a moment, when it stops recording press M (menu) - it was really hard to figure this out for me too

depends on a video/codec used in the original video/converter you've used etc etc

GIF files play very slowly

nothing can be done here

Recorded files play back very quickly. fast forwarded basically.

didn't have that issue
